Here we go again. Let me condense this down as much as I can and address everything that needs to be addressed without writing an entire essay.
Kesha is no longer deemed as a force in the pop scene, no. This is largely due to her last era not having similar success to the Animal era, and her album sales not being the best, especially with Warrior, even though Warrior as an era (and in terms of singles) outperformed some of the biggest gurls' like Gaga and Beyonce. Her Top 40 streak is still in tact.
Regardless, people saying that Kesha was never a force are foolish. Tell me why no pop girl has an era with a single that sold more than TiK ToK WW if she was never a force? She was literally everywhere in 2009-2010. But there's not much more to say on that because it's simply not true and saying "she was never a force" is just easy because it was a long time ago.
I find it hilarious that people are trying to attribute Rising Star's ratings to Kesha's ability to be a force in the pop scene? They literally have nothing to do with one another. There are three other known artists on that show, the show is not about them. It's about the contestants and the wall. The definition of trying too hard.
Finally, Kesha has every chance to come back and have a massive era. It's been done time and time again where artists have had a big opening, a sophomore slump, and then returned to glory; Kesha is a smart woman and isn't the type of artist that will just give up on music. More so, Kesha was not feeling herself with Warrior, and the result really showed that. This is going to be Kesha's best album and I wish her all of the success. Will she be a force compared to others like Katy? Probably not. But stranger things have happened. I just find it funny when people act like their opinions are fact. Just because you say she's done doesn't mean she is.
