It's a celebration for the US independence from Britian. Not of the killings/taking over land of the Natives. Educate yourself

Columbus Day is wrong but there's nothing wrong with the 4th of July.

There is no land in the world that has always belonged to the same people (to my knowledge).

Now that we are more civilized we should be doing all we can to help (and/or give land back) to those we cruelly took it from, and work on never letting things like this happen again.

True. Columbus day is more likely to be the one that celebrates finding/taking this land.
