Are Vanille & Fang the first gay characters of Final Fantasy
Some people say they're only good friends, but for me it is clear as light that they're so much more than that. Definitely the high point of the whole FF XIII trilogy tbh.
Yes. If you thought they were just friends, be sure to watch their final segment in Lightning Returns. They were designed a little fanservicely but I love how they never shoved it in your face about how gay they are. It's the one area where the XIII saga was very forward thinking.
