Im really having meltdown now. I was SO looking forward for the new sims game and now I see there is not ONE single thing that makes me wanna play it. They are just removing the the already-existing parts of game to adapt the game for even low quality computers. Well FK THEM this is not how you make game series and evolve. If someone has a poor computer then let him play TS2, but why to stop any game evolution because of it ? I cant even imagine Bethesda doing the same thing to The Elder Scrolls series. EA are full of ****

As someone has already said - Generations + Seasons imho are must. They really broaden the basic functions of base game and they should be already included in it.

Personally, I enjoyed Supernatural EP probably the most. Its not just the basic playing anymore and And it makes the game more interesting to play. You can be witch (learning spells, potions then use it on people), werewolf (body changes, wolf packs), vampire or fairy (wings, artistry, auras). The negative things are reccuring annoying zombies and town which look like one big cemetery.

I don't even understand how they can launch the game in less than two months with all this negativity

The characters looked better in TS2 in comparison to TS3, where they all had fat faces and ugly eyes and hairstyles.


But I honestly think I created the most attractive sims on the URBZ game on PS2 their curves and striking looks >.......

They've added too much with TS3. Now they're trying to take away too much with TS4. They are lazy ass idiots for not finding a balance. Imagine a game with everything we wanted with beautiful graphics. That **** will be selling like crazy.

Wait, I'm new to The Sims thread here and I never realized TS3 got so much hate! Am I the only one that prefers it over TS2 and 1? And I've been reading all the information about TS4, looks like I'm sticking to my TS3 after all.

The Sims 2 will always be the biggest evolution in the series, it was a massive jump and they couldn't keep up with the customers/fans needs ever since. The Sims 3 was ambitious but it fell flat.

Sad to see them hit a plateau like this. TS4 sounds...useless.

I don't think it can be called a plateau when it's now at a steep downhill.

The Sims 3 was a major leap from Ts2, but it did take away a lot of the good things that made TS2 so lovable. Now that the Ts4 has removed everything from Ts3, it is easy to see that Ts3 was actually an enjoyable game...that had some issues to be worked on. Instead of working on them TS4 abandons it and essentially creates TS1.5. They went 4 steps back.

However................I must say that I only played TS3 for like 2 weeks when it came out, but made sure to try most of he EP's, even though I lost my interest in gaming, EA kept me curious to see how far they were going with the series.

I actually enjoy TS3 too. But its downfall is that they had great ideas but implemented them poorly. I really enjoyed the open world, story progression, and CASt. But the fact that I have to download third party hacks in order for them to work correctly (and yet my game STILL crashed) is ridiculous.

I would have hoped that EA used Sims 4 as the opportunity to improve these features rather than just axe them completely.
