But please, do you really think MTV Europe would allow such blasphemy as Tokio Hotel winning BEST ACT EVER against U2, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Rick Astley?

That's 23.117 this week. By the October 25th chart, Britney should be at at least 35m-40m. So that should shrink it to about 280k. Which sadly she won't do. :-/
Okay, the crappy thing about digital cd sales is that they count towards Soundscan but not towards the RIAA. So even if Blackout sells another 98k it still might not be certified platinum because RIAA goes off of shipments, and technically when a digital album is purchased it isn't shipped. Also, it's hard to tell how many albums were shipped since SS only accounts for about 85% of the market.
As for ITZ, it should definitely be 3x platinum, Britney should be 5x platinum, and OIDIA sold 9.18 million through SS + 1.21 million through BMG so she definitely deserves 10x platinum, but considering Columbia House was an even bigger record club than BMG, OIDIA probably sold more through them hence why it deserves 11x platinum.
