Carrie Underwood’s latest album, Carnival Ride, will be re-released exclusively at Wal-Mart stores on October 21st, only two days short of the one year anniversary of the original release. The deluxe re-release will come with a bonus disc featuring 5 Christmas songs.

2. The First Noel
3. What Child Is This
4. O Holy Night
5. Do You Hear What I Hear

Haha, she should really make a Holiday album and not re-release ridiculously like this ... Her Christmas songs are always charted high on AC, i remember "Do you hear what i hear" peaked at #2 last year.

why not just release a christmas album rather than a rerelease of carnival ride.

I just want a full on Christmas album. It seems tacky to tack on a few holiday songs at the end of your regular album and then label it "Carnival Ride: Holiday Edition" or some such ********.

I think a Christmas album would be better, but I see what her labels doing. They probably figure after the massive success of "Some Hearts" they at least wanna push this to 3X Platinum, which could happen if this re-release helps.

I think Carnival Ride was 10x better than Some Hearts but come one, just released an EP of Christmas songs at like Wal-Mart or Target, it's just silly to re release it on a regular album, I mean what happens when you buy it and come summer time next year when you want to listen to it in the car... ahha

Carrie falls in line with Madonna and Mariah who could have had better sales if they chose better singles.

ORDER SHOULD HAVE BEEN:

1. So Small
2. Last Name
3. Get Out Of This Town
4. Flat On The Floor

She obviously chose good singles considering they all hit #1 on Country? (or at least the top 2 I think).
She's not a pop artist - "Last Name", "Flat On The Floor", are not serviceable to pop, not like BHC was.

I think the order should have been this:

1. Flat On The Floor
2. Just A Dream
3. All-American Girl
4. The More Boys I Meet
5. Get Out of This Town

Most people I know found SS to be incredibly boring, and I have a feeling it only went #1 due to momentum. I love LN but it's too much of a re-hash of BHC.

1st single : Jesus ... vs So Small
2nd single: Don't forget ... vs All-american Girl
3rd single: BHC vs Last Name
4th single: Wasted vs Just A Dream

These are her 8 OFFICIAL SINGLES, 6 of them went #1, Don't forget #2 and Just A Dream is going #1. Carnival Ride is a stronger album with weaker achievements, but i think she made the right choice of releasing these singles. I hope "Flat on the floor", "get out of this town" and "the more boys I meet" to be singles, we need more upbeat and naughty Carrie

I wanted Flat On The Floor but it is kinda similar to Last Name so I would say it might not be released
Get Out of This Town, I Know You Won't, Twisted would all be good final singles

I think Flat On The Floor got newer beat from BHC, Last Name is too similar.

I wish she would come out with a holiday album. I loved hearing "Do You Hear What I Hear" last Christmas.

It would be a best-selling album i guess. People just love her voice when it got into those Christmas melodies.
