Katherine Heigl is hoping to make a serious comeback.
The actress, who is returning to TV in NBC’s anticipated State of Affairs, spoke to Marie Claire U.K. about some of her damaging career choices that left her angry at the industry.
"This thing that was my best friend for a long time suddenly turned on me," she said of the Hollywood machine. "And I didn’t expect it. I was taken by surprise and angry at it for betraying me."
While the 35-year-old may have felt betrayed, it also appeared that she bit the hand that fed her, leading her to garner a bad reputation in the biz.
Heigl publicly criticized the show that made her red hot in Hollywood, Grey’s Anatomy, by bashing the writing. She also trashed Knocked Up — which helped in her transition from television star to movie star — deeming the film sexist.
She's trying to play the victim. No one will ever believe that Katherine Heigl is a "Victim of Hollywood."
You brought all of this on yourself with your on-set behaviour and horrendous stage momager. Suffer.

I remember she would slightly shade Roswell too which was basically her big break in the industry.
I mean she seems like a pleasant person but when it comes to her career it seems like she thought too highly of herself, and for the wrong reasons. She got attached to the money and hype instead of picking challenging and well-written roles.
