i don't want a beef. This so called "beef" has been brought on by the public. I love both Iggy and Nicki. Though I'm not the biggest rap music fan, I do know that these two together can help change the landscape of rap. Help bring more female rappers in the game. Having a beef will only make it harder for other female rappers coming in the game, because they will always be pitted against one another.
We already have tons of male rappers... Let's change the game.
How come when it comes time to talk about basic skill and the actual art of rapping, Iggy stans (or the d-riders) have nothing of substance to say?
I would love to hear a response other than "Queen of Rap Iggy is unbothered with her #1!!!!" from some of y'all. She's supposedly the Queen of Rap, you think there'd be more discussion about, I dunno, rap.

On topic: This reminds me of when people were hyped about a Nicki/Kim beef bringing female rap and competition back. The biggest difference here though is less seniority. I'd be here for it, just because I want to hear what Iggy could think up to say about Nicki and vice versa. I think Nicki, at this point, has way more ammo.

Nicki is SUPPOSED to be able to outrap Iggy. She's the one with more experience, and more lyrical ability. Hip-hop heads would expect her to make little work of Iggy. if Iggy proved herself (not straight up slaughtered her) and hung with Nic, Nicki wouldn't be a laughing stock at all.
It wouldn't make Nicki look bad if Iggy proves that she's a worthy competitor. Nicki would only look bad if she got the Jay/ether treatment. A healthy back and forth would be beneficial to both on some fronts.

I disagree. A Nicki Minaj/Iggy Azalea beef would only be good for Nicki Minaj since she desperately needs the publicity right now since her first single drastically underperformed and there's literally no buzz around her album, "The Pink Print." A beef wouldn't really benefit Iggy Azalea because she's already surpassed Nicki Minaj and is at the top of the game right now. Iggy Azalea doesn't need the beef for publicity as much as Nicki Minaj does.

I don't think Iggy will ever be on Nicki's level lyrically tbh. "Work" is as close as Iggy got to actual rap. A feud would be pointless since they're two different artists. Like Mariah/Nicki different.
The only reason why I don't want a beef is because it will be boring. I wish Angel Haze or even Azealia were at Iggy's level. Lyrical Iggy isn't a threat. Commercial wise yes, but that's not what's important in hip-hop. When Nicki outshines Iggy which she will, everyone will be like "OMG SHE IS THE TRUE QUEEN OF HIP HOP CAUSE SHE CAN LAST EVEN WITH COMPETITION" blah blah when Iggy wasn't even competition in the first place.
