Don't be angry and yes everyone's sh*t does stink, but Iggy is a new artist and these tweets and things raise eyebrows. So people want to know. Defend it by saying how Iggy has cleared up because things do get misinterpreted and they can be cleared up.

Oh I know that. I've seen one female rapper react to something my fave didn't even tweet. The reason is brought up what I brought was because of the previous things and I never myself seen her clear that up.

I don't excuse the racist remarks of her past. I don't have to like everything they do to be a stan. No offense to Australians, but culturally and (especially) historically speaking, they are a pretty racist country. HOWEVER
Bringing up those tweets three years later is just looking for controversy now that she is big. Maybe its because many Iggy stans, like myself, got upset about it and then got over it ages ago, it just seems very petty now.

In terms of this particular comment, I agree. It is quite silly to call Lorde a racist because of the lyrics to Royals.

Closed. The thread itself wasn't that bad, but it turned into a "she's racist!" "no she's not" "yeah she is, look at what she said here" type thread. Like many of these do. I've seen what is basically the same thread many times already.
