They don't hurt on top of a healthy lifestyle of good food & exercise.
Multivitamins & minerals are for all around supply of whatever you are not getting enough of through normal diet.
Vit C is for immune system (haven't been ill for ages)
Vit D is for lack of sunlight in UK
B Vitamins for energy as I tend to get exhausted at work.
Fish oil for omega 3. I don't eat enough sea food. Need to replace it with Krill Oil though which is so much better, but also so much more expensive unfortunately.
In any case, vitamins are not substitute for a healthy diet, they are only supplements.
