In the introductory scene, under orders from the villainous Mollusc, Ghosts Inky and Clyde steal a magical power pellet known as the Artifact that has kept Pac-Land free from evil. The Mollusc smashes the Artifact and in a mighty explosion of power, its four fragmented pieces are scattered across time and space. The player's challenge as Pac-Man is to retrieve the Artifact's four pieces from the now ghost-infested time periods and return them to the present. Professor Pac-Man prepares an unpredictable, hastily constructed Time Machine to help Pac-Man on his quest.
Pac-Man initially travels through four different time-periods, including prehistoric times, Ancient Egypt, the Middle Ages, and the Wild West. Although the Time Machine sometimes malfunctions, sending Pac-Man to an unexpected place and time, he is eventually able to obtain in each era one of the four pieces of the Artifact. Afterwards, the Time Machine malfunctions again before Pac-Man can return to the present, instead bringing him to a fifth time-period: the future. Professor Pac-Man claims that an alternate power source is needed to bring him home from the future. In this fifth time-period, Pac-Man finally comes to the Reactor Core and is able to harness its energy to be finally transported, with the Artifact reassembled, to the second after the Mollusc broke the Artifact in the game's introduction scene. Aiming the now-repaired Artifact at the Mollusc, Pac-Man fires a beam of light at his foe, vaporizing the Mollusc and grinning triumphantly.
What makes it interesting?:
The game was one of the first game to use spherical worlds and anti-gravity. Something games like Super Mario Galaxy and Ratchet & Clank take credit for.
The game ended up being free as a Cereal Box game, as Namco were scared Hasbro Interactive's (who developed the game) PacMan game would overshadow PacMan World 2.

Hogs Of War
Gameplay:
The gameplay of Hogs of War is a turn-based tactics game where players take turns controlling individual members of their squad of hogs to engage in combat with the opposition, similar to Worms. Each turn, a player takes control of a single squad member in a third-person perspective to move around the map, including jumping over terrain and swimming over bodies of water, yet can only engage in combat when stationary. Each turn has a set time limit and ends if the timer counts down to zero, the player skips their turn, a weapon or ability is used or if they have accidentally injured themselves such as walking into a mine field or falling from a high surface. Other hazards include bodies of water that, while they can be swam in, is damaging to nearly all types of soldiers and drains health as they swim. If a teammate is knocked into water by an opponent, they will automatically swim to the nearby shore line. While difficult, it is also possible to knock hogs off the map resulting in instant death. If all health is gone and the player is on land, they will fall over with a last comical remark before exploding.
Each squad member can be assigned a class type where they have immediate access to certain weapons and abilities. There are four main class types; heavy gunners that specialize in long range heavy weapons like bazookas, mortars and rocket launchers, engineers that specialize in explosives like grenades, mines and TNT, espionage that don't appear on the mini map and use sniper rifles and camouflage and finally medics that can heal other units in both close and long range. Despite the classes, any hog can pick up and use any weapon or ability if found in a crate that can be found across each map or dropped from blimps (that can be destroyed for further items).
Other than a hog's inventory items, players can also gain access to military vehicles like tanks and semi-aquatic and stationary turrets like heavy artillery and pillboxes, both or which provide health protection until they are destroyed and in some cases allow use of highly destructive weaponry unavailable for regular use. Bunkers and MASH tents also provide further protection but without weaponry, with the latter healing a small amount at the start of their turn.

Magrunner
Plot:
The game starts at the Gruckezber Corporation training facility built for deep space exploration. The initial levels display the sleek, clean high-tech nature of the Magtech facility. When a major malfunction takes the facility offline and locks it down, the appearance of the challenge facility changes, becoming decrepit and eerie. It then enters the realm of the Cthulhu Mythos — the inhuman and alien. Dax faces the first of the nightmarish monstrosities of the mythos that now infest the realm. Gamaji reveals Xander’s insane past to Dax as Kram goes mad with his exposure to the eldritch environment. Dax discovers the Soul Pillars feeding its power to the ritual gate that Xander has devised to free his master, Cthulhu. When Dax confronts Xander, he faces a greater threat — one of the Spawn of Cthulhu emerging through The Gate to herald the arrival of the Great Old One.

I knew there was a reason you slayed LoL and DotA2 are fun.
I gifted like 10 people Bastion last year because it's so amazing. I have the Bastion announcer in Dota 2 and I play Audiosurf with the Bastion soundtrack. I even got all the Steam emoticons for it. I'm such a stan. I haven't played it in a while though. I'll probably start it up again soon because all this talking about it has gotten me thirsty for that narrator.

I've only just started playing Bastion, Transistor just screamed to be played first

Bastion is crying.
Although I'm sure Transistor slays just as much so I'll allow it!
Tell me how it is. I have a huge backlog of games to catch up on though so I'm not even going to worry about it for a while.

Is amazing, my one problem was how short the actual game was And how it just throws you into the game
and Transistor looks awesome. The only free game that I actively play/like at the moment is League of Legends. but I'm looking for new games so I will check this thread out later this weekend!
