I'm currently on the 2nd episode of season 3, but I'm not sure how I feel about it yet.
The first 2 seasons were great though! (I watched them all in the past 3 days )
2nd 3rd gen are not as instant as the 1st but the second gets better as you keep watching more episodes. I kinda think I like the third gen more than the second(5th season. the 6th season was really slow and a bit extra).
The character development during the second generation was the best, in my opinion. Not to forget, Effy Stonem is one of the most intriguing fictional characters I've ever come across in television. Kaya Scodelario's performance was profound.
The third genration certainly wasn't on par with the first two, but I don't think it's that bad. In fact, it had a few moments of brilliance. Liv's episode in the fifth season where she runs away with Matty was one of the best from the entire series.

Yes Effy was QUEEN. As a whole the 1st generation>>>>> But Effy was the real queen. She made you love her, hate her, being disgusted, feel bad for her
I recently rewatched the 3rd and 4th series and woo Lord the 1st 4 series of this show were everything. Effy is my fave Kaya Scodelario has got to be the prettiest girl to ever walk the earth
First generation was perfection. Second was good. Could not get into 3. And then Effy's older episode was absolute perfection. It actually made me choose finance as a major and I love it
