I hope Jhené's songs don't make it too far. I've been meaning to get into her for so long and now that I finally gave her music a try I'm really not feeling it at all. Are her other songs any better than the three featured in the rate? Because I've seen people praising her as the new Aaliyah and whatnot and this just ain't cutting it.

Phew, so at least I'm not the only one who's not here for Jhené! I loved her voice on Drake's From Time, but her solo stuff seems to be super basic and boring.
1) Man, is 2 On far superior to anything else Tinashe's ever done. (although Vulnerable is quite good, and should have been here.) It's crass like Chainless, but actually has some sort of chord progression. Furthermore, it neutralizes her biggest flaw - her voice. [She does not have the tone required for R&B music. Ciara and Mya, singers with smaller ranges, both sound like they're meant to do nothing but R&B/soul/hip-pop. Tina sounds like she wandered off from Disney land. It's almost like Mandy Moore singing trap music, tonally speaking]
2) SZA sounds a LOT like Jordin Sparks. Seriously, listen - it's eerie.
