Jermaine Dupri when asked about the performance of Mariah's latest album gave an incoherent and tortured response:
Quote:
"This is just the way it was, you know, the umm, er, the way it was put out, the music was put out, er, she wanted to hear the music all at one time, hear it as a body of work, as oppose to, err, we didn't leak songs, and stuff like, the way people doin', so you know when you try somethin' new it's gonna be a different thing that happens, but, I believe the outcome is gonna be what everybody - I think people don't realize what's gonna happen."
To be fair, he's just not very articulate; that's how he speaks about pretty much everything Did he really have a point? Doubtful, but it sounds way worse when you take the time type out every individual verbal tic and such
I watched his and Jagged edge's interview with the breakfast club a couple of weeks ago. From what he said it seems like he didn't really agree with Mariah going ahead without releasing another single/music beforehand. He said he had to "respect" her decision as an artist.
Aside from his lucky moments when it comes to writing and producing music he is a pure failure and yet he thinks he rocks. I can't even know what to say.
