Along with her third studio album finally arriving in the US market this month, Sony Records will be releasing the compilation, "Playlist: The Very Best of Amerie" as apart of their Legacy collection on October 28th, 2008. It will include her hit singles "1Thing", "Take Control", "Why Don't We Fall In Love", "Gotta Work" as well as the international single "I'm Coming Out" and a few previously unreleased tracks.

I'm just glad that "Because I Love It" is finally coming out in the States. I've had it on my iPod since last May when it leaked but I wanted to physically own it when it came out but it was never released. It's been sitting in my Amazon shopping cart for a year now, but I didn't want to buy the import because it cost $23, so this is good news for me.

Aside from 1 Thing, Amerie had modest success with Why Don't We Fall In Love back in '02.
