Well, they have been living in extremely close quarters for the past eight days and all the things Devin has done that may seem tiny have built up over those days. Maybe they were a bit melodramatic (although not as dramatic as Devin's emotional speech about brothers and sisters) but to be fair, they are
have-nots who have gotten minimal sleep (~3 hours a night), no hot showers and only eaten oatmeal and pickles for the past few days
, they are understandably a bit irritable right now. Like I said though, Brittany told Derrick and the other boys she was crying because she missed her kids. She couldn't control her emotions but she didn't want to air out her dirty laundry with Devin in-person. It's not her fault that Devin took it upon himself to walk around and tell people about how Brittany cried, looking for justfication for his actions.

Anyway, Brittany told Derrick she was crying because she missed her kids, not because of what Devin did. Devin exposed himself.
