Players navigate the open world metropolis Sunset City in 2027. The dystopian world is controlled by the corporation FizzCo. The player character is a FizzCo employee, voiced by Yuri Lowenthal , tasked with cleaning up the mess left behind from a party FizzCo has thrown in celebration of the launch of their new energy drink, Overcharge Delirium XT. Players fight the OD'd humans who have mutated from drinking too much of the energy drink.
The game focuses on "agile combat", including wall running, zip-lines, and acrobatics.
Which game will slay more ( quailty and sales wise)
I think I'll give the sales edge to TEW but SO looks more of a fun game
Sis you know damn well that SO looks nothing like Infamous.
Okay, let's be real. SO looks pretty cool and I'm a bit bitter that it's not on PC or PS4, but you have to at least acknowledge that the mechanics this game has is absolutely from Infamous. It of course is a shooter and features a more animated style, but there's no denying that Sunset Overdrive is, to a certain extent, taking from Infamous.
Which is fine, I honestly don't care about that as long as you can make your own game out of it and it looks fun (which it does).

I'll admit Insomniac might have gotten some pointers form Sucker Punch on the railing mechanics but thats where the similarities end. To say it's anything like Infamous ( esp. Second Son, which Ive play btw) is a reach.
Is it me or does Sunset Overdrive look like a pretty game with no substance. The gameplay seems too floaty for my taste. I guess I just lack a sense of humor
But even with resolution dropped to 900p, performance is a nagging concern during our hands-on with Sunset Overdrive at E3 - a Chaos Squad co-op match involving eight players defending a central point. The Wondertown Land level shown here uses a similar fairground theme as the E3 conference demo, but with effects engulfing the screen far more incessantly during play. As a result of all the rapid rail-grinding and TnTeddy explosions from all sides, the frame-rate is distinctly in the 20-30fps range at most points.
Since the XO is flopping (it's only sold less than 4 million) I can see Insomniac going to PS4 with this because it doesn't have to be exclusive to XO.

It's sold 4.6 million , And it's outselling what the 360 did in the same time period. They're fine. And it's published by Microsoft. To go to Sony, they would have to find a new publisher.
