My sister is a radiation therapist, so she sees the results these machines cause daily. Melanoma isn't as treatable as it's persevered to be. You have a very tiny margin to catch it before it penetrates into your blood system. Once it's done that, you're as good as dead.

Sun beds and solariums are banned here for a reason, they are so dangerous. A tans not worth dying over

I don't. I get sunburned really easily and I don't care about being tan so I usually wear a lot of sunscreen to protect myself from sunburn and skin cancer

The bed might be certifed 'safe' but they are NOT a safe way to tan. You can use all the cream you want, but the bottom line is, they're dangerous. The UVA and UVB radiation emitted by these machines are toxic.
