I have noticed in general that most guys admire muscular gays and some admire skinny guys, but I noticed many are after chubbies. I'm not being hateful or body shaming, but why do some guys admire chubbies ? Any explanation or personal stories would be appreciated, guys.

Maybe that's their definition of a "real man". I personally noticed so many guys stuck on this "real man" thing as if there are fake ones, and they just consider chubby guys "real men".

Oh, and people are apparently instinctively attracted to people who are like their parents. Maybe their dads were chubby guys?
