Shouldn't an acclaimed album and song get you ahead of someone with just two acclaimed songs? I mean, an album consists of more than 2 songs.
It's all about the overall placing (the number in brackets). But yes, albums are weighed more. There's a huge gap between them though (more than 1000 positions)

The first artist with any entry inside Top 1000! Call Me Maybe wasn't just a huge success. It was also super acclaimed. #7 for the year. #27 so far this decade
I mean Sade is a certified queen, but I don't think I've ever seen a single Sade stan on ATRL
