Also, Republicans are the ones against immigration reform. There are lots of illegal immigrants which need to be given a (reasonable) chance to have legal status, providing that they will work and aren't criminals obviously. Republicans don't want this. Republicans will co-operate with securing the border, which is important, but that's it. Ideally the Republicans want to round up all the immigrants and kick them out the country.

I saw a video of a Republican saying that illegal immigration is an "act of love", since people are moving to the US to give their families a better life, and that's completely true! However, all the other Republicans got really angry with the guy. It shows their attitude to this. There's a good reason why latino voters favour democrats, because Republicans treat them so harshly and talk about them as if they're not even human.

The US was In such a shithole when he took over that there's no way he would have been able to completely turn it around like people want/expect. A lot of US citizens are so uneducated about our government. It's concerning.
