I know from the outside it seems really dumb but it's a good idea to be honest. I'm saying this because being a Hilary stan, we went through the same thing back in the day between her and HWR.
They're not a good label and it's clear that Selena wants out, just like it was clear that Hilary wanted out.
It's a greatest hits album just for the sake of leaving the contract. You don't have to take it seriously. I don't think it's that big of a deal that she doesn't have many hits. Hilary didn't either. But I'd rather have a faux greatest hits album over a half-assed two year era that no one believes in.
She needs to come back with a vengeance with promotion like Red had before it's release.
