How was she gonna be on the list when she pretty much took the year off? The mere fact that the wrote an article to explain her absence shows how powerful she is within the entertainment industry. You won't see this being done for many/most pop girls.

they may be very discomfort about her all the time because they can't have the right to access her real networth. But anyway i doubt that she cares of the emblazonment by Forbes or any business magazine while she owns loads of KA-CHING
But Madonna has a dozen albums that are still being sold. She also has publishing royalties, endorsements, gyms, and clothing, jewelry, and perfume.
and forbes never know how much she's earned from those investments but numbers the album sales and touring gross which they can collect from artist's label
