And just because they weren't gigantic smashes doesn't mean they're not considered 'hits'. Given the circumstances & her label's handling of their artists (pre-When The Sun Goes Down era), she did excellent. None of her early singles were sent to radio yet & pushed like her current ones are yet 2 out of 4 peaked in the top 30, 1 peaked in the top 40, and her debut single peaked in the top 100. Her only single (out of all 8 of her singles) to miss the hot 100, by 3 positions, was 'Hit The Lights' yet it's still certified platinum & has nearly 90,000,000 youtube hits.
She may not have a catalog full of top 10s but she definitely has a ton of '
moderate hits'. This album is only to free her of the HWR contract anyways so it's not like she has much of a choice. I'm just excited to get new tracks from her & I loved Hilary Duff's Best Of compilation so this will be great too.
She literally has released ONE ALBUM as a solo act
