Soda. I cringe when my mom says pop
The map statistic surprises me though? I've lived in multiple southern states all my life and I don't hear people say coke, it's usually soda.

Soda. Pop is so cringey, but everyone around me says it. I say beverage before I say 'pop'

Soda. Pop rolls off the tongue weirdly.
It took 4 years to convert my oregonian step father to say soda.

This isn't true. Upstate New York for example says pop, and it annoyed the eff out of me. Along with the word way they said ramen noodles (they say raymen noodles).
