every thursday:
houseguests vote to evict one person
nominees can't vote, hoh only votes in event of tie
after, new HOH is crowned. the old hoh cannot play that week
hoh nominates two people for eviction
hoh, 2 nominees and 3 people chosen at random play for POWER OF VETO
whoever wins can remove one of the nominees, including themselves.
hoh must replace the veto-ed houseguest with someone new. can't be the veto winner. (veto does NOT have to be used)
thursday comes again and eviction is LIVE.
have and have not challenges : happen every now and again. the hosueguests get the chance to win prizes. the losers of these challenges became the have nots and cannot eat anything but SLOP (a plain oatmeal kind of thing) and must only sleep in extremely uncomfortable room (yet to be revealed this season)

Veto - is a challenge where the two nominees the HOh and two other house guest play . If either nominee wins the power of veto they can remove themselves from the block no longer getting evicted . If one nominee takes theirselves down the HOH puts another person up in their place . The POV doesn't have to be used ..
Then the houseguest votes who they want out . Whoever gets majority they are evicted and sent home unless they make it to the jury house
Jury house- a seprate house when evicted members go and they ecru ally decide the fate of the final two houseguests

Big Brother 9 had a few stand out moments, some good, but some bad =/
Really crazy season though. From "Crazy James", to Chelsia's speech before being evicted, to one of the guys who made fun of someones father who had commited suicide, to that girl Amanda fainting, and to that other woman Allison, who felt sick and had to have the doctors come into help her.
