13 weeks left at 10k a week = at least 130k + boost from the CMA's + boost from the holidays will most likely help CR shift 260k by year's end. I was hoping this album would hit 4x platinum too but no album released after 2006 will probably ever achieve that (not counting Groban's Christmas cd).

Nickelback might be the only contender, but 3x plat is about as high as they get these days so you should be proud of Carrie's accomplishment.

p.s. if Kelly's Thankful came out this year instead of 5 years ago it would've sold less than Jordin's debut.

Carnival Ride won't win CMA's album of the year, but i do hope she win best female vocalist. It will help, but not double that figure i guess. Haha, just now i was estimated only. Not even bother to count how many weeks left. Holiday will somehow pick it up a bit, but she needs to do some promotion. She has been touring since forever and continue to have more shows until the end of the year.

Of course i am proud . Just it is below my expectation. Cause Taylor's album was released 2 years back and it started to pick up sale up to 3.5mil (Estimated again, abt there) and Carrie's one just released end of last year and ...

Yeah, well I guess we'll just have to see how the next few months go. Carrie's singles have been getting a lukewarm response from this album. She screwed up by releasing So Small and Last Name, and should have invested more energy in The More Boys I Meet or Flat on the Floor.

Either way though, Some Hearts will finish with 7 million sold while Taylor will finish with 4 million so Carrie still wins round 1 but Taylor hasn't released Fearless yet so we can't determine a winner for round 2. Let's be optimistic for both of them though.
