How? I don't see Brandy as an artsy singer. She doesn't implement visuals as well as Xtina and Bee and her music is not that experimental.

Beyonce tries to be a soulful/jazzy R&B singer but when she flops with that she goes and makes pop songs like Irreplaceable. hardly original.

As in music videos, their looks, etc. Christina's style has changed so much especially during the Stripped era. I have a bunch of posters of her and people think they are different women lol. Anyways, Xtina and Bee are more experimental that Brandy. I can't think of one thing Brandy has done that's made me think "that's unique".

Also, I get what Rico is saying. Brandy might not have the voice of the other two (in terms of range), but in terms of emotive power/interpretation/real sonic craft, she's one of this generation's best. You feel something when she sings; she's not a robot (hey Bee!) or a screaming Linda Hogan lookalike banshee. (Hey Aggy!)

Oh ok. Well I'll admit she hasn't done much, I mean she hasn't really been in the popular frontier during this era, or during the era, of big production videos. "What About Us" was a pretty good start. I guess you'd have to know her music and stuff to fully understand.
