Basically there is Singles 1, 2 and then a third but it came under a different name.
The game came out before The Sims 2 and is basically a more realistic version of The Sims.

Like they had things that EA didn't include in the Sims for ages, or still haven't. Clothes could get dirty and you'd have to wash them in the washing machine, the floor needed vacuuming etc. Bills would fluctuate on what power you used etc. It behaved more realistically than the Sims. The locations were also (and still are in some cases) more realistic.

There were actual apartments, actual penthouses etc:



Also, your singles could go downtown and actually explore and go shopping etc. not just travel per lot like the Sims.








But the main seller of this game, was the fact that outside the US version, Nudity wasn't censored. Also inside the game, Singles could masturbate, have oral and normal sex and for gays, anal.

It was basically more realistic in all area's

I couldn't play the Sims 2 because it required a better video card (apparently) yet the Singles 2 worked even though it had a stronger graphical engine

So I loved the Sims so this was my alternative.

It's not really the central part of the game. The Singles 2 game has a story that wasn't even sexual at all. I haven't played it for years, though. But I was on my friends PC and he had it on his desktop and the memories came flooding back aha. For ages, my PC wouldn't let me run the Sims 2 but would let me run Singles 2. Even though Singles 2 had way better graphics and more elaborate lots to load and run.

In the US version (international version) you could only uncensored the game and those features by hacking the game. So no, at 11 I didn't do that. A lot of the aspects of this game were actually ahead of it's time compared to the Sims. Some of the features that this series had, The Sims 4 is just implementing now. For example: realistic backgrounds/locations.
