Permanent Monday is a good song and will be a nice album seller ala Better In Time. Freeze is extremely overrated.

I dunno, I don't know what labels think when they choose singles. I mean the song is good as is her cd, but this does not scream hit at all. It's just about the last popular song downloaded on itunes and by releasing this, it pretty much will secure this being the last single from this album. It's not the kind of song that could have another single follow it. "Freeze" "Shy Boy" or even "Next To You" would have been better. Sometimes, I think some of these people at the labels need to be fired.

I don't think anyone could say "Oh Permanent Monday, Perfect choice!!!" because it clearly is not. They might as well release "See My Side" 5th too.

Have you listened to the full album? "Permanent Monday" is one of the weakest song on the album. Right there with "God Loves Ugly". All other tracks put those two to sleep. "Worth the Wait" should've made the album and have been the next single. "Just the Record", "Freeze", "Shy Boy", "Next to You" all would've made better single choices than "Permanent Monday".

I mean if she just had to piss off her fans and release another ballad then she should've gone for "Just For The Record" or even "Now You Tell Me", as they are a million times better. But "PM" out of ALL choices.....
