BRITNEY SPEARS has been announced among those contributing music to the soundtrack for the highly anticipated R-Rated comedy "SEARCH PARTY", slated to hit theaters Friday September 12th. The film, from writer / director Scot Armstrong ("Old School", "The Hangover II", "Semi-Pro"), finds a group of old friends rallying to help their down-on-his-luck buddy reunite with a former-flame. With remixed tracks from Lil Jon featuring LMFAO as well as hip-hop duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis already slated to appear on the films soundtrack, Spears comes on board as the first musician to offer up an original tune. Produced by famed Pop architects Stargate, "All The Way" is set for release in mid-August. The song is to be supported by a physical CD single released through Universal Music, which also distributed Gold Circle Films' "Pitch Perfect" in 2012 (that went on to become the fastest-selling film soundtrack in digital music history, in addition to producing a Billboard Hot 100 top 10 single in Anna Kendrick's "Cups").
Spears is also set to return to her Planet Hollywood Las Vegas residency "BRITNEY: PIECE OF ME" later this summer.
