Mine too! I was JUST thinking about how Applause is actually a well written song. I personally didn't like it when it first came out, but it is literally just as catchy as her material from The Fame. Oh and the lyrics are hilarious- totally Gaga's style.

So true, it really should have been pushed for her first single. Even if there would have been controversy, if she played her cards right it could have been a major hit. This song is seriously underrated, had radio picked it up the ARTPOP era would have been so different.

the only part I use is "enigma popstar is fun she wear burqa for fashion, it's not a statement just a move of passion"
one of the only moments of the album that is reminiscent of Gaga's true craft for songwriting & melody
but that part is totally butchered in the studio version so...
