I can't speak for other parts of the world but in the US, Harry is still known as Taylor's ex. The US media doesn't even talk about him unless he's in the country. Maybe their relationship generated more interest in her outside the US. I never saw the UK media print so much about Taylor prior to this relationship. There's an article about her almost everyday on the Daily Mail.
Wasn't it either John or Jake that didn't want to be seen with her in public, didn't want her to wear heels, didn't like her popularity and music. Joe, Taylor, Conor or Harry didn't seem to have a problem.
To this day, Harry say's she's a Great Songwriter. I'm not disagreeing with you in terms of image. But as a boyfriend, Jake and John were the worst.
