Universal Republic Records and hip hop empire Cash Money have teamed up to premier new pop/rock/alternative artist Kevin Rudolf. The Miami based singer/songwriter has delivered an epic first single to radio already, scoring the coveted most added slot at Top 40 Radio with the rock-edged/hip hop mash-up "Let It Rock," featuring rap's best selling and most acclaimed hip hop star, Cash Money Franchise player Lil Wayne.
The soaring anthem has already become one of the most talked about releases of the year, with Lil Wayne's cryptic verses gliding off of Kevin's funk/rock pedigree, creating what one influential hip hop blogger called "(2008's) perfect trifecta of pop, rap and rock." Industry tome Hits Magazine has also become one of the track's early believers, selecting "Let It Rock" as the magazine's prestigious Wild Card pick.

His debut album, IN THE CITY, which will feature artists such as Lil Wayne, is scheduled to hit stores and digital platforms nationwide November 25.
The video for "Let It Rock" is being shot by director Justin Francis, who has worked with Eminem, Alicia Keys, 50 Cent, Modest Mouse, The Mars Volta, and Nappy roots, among others. The video includes appearances from Baby as well as Lil Wayne, the versatile superstar who is currently President of Cash Money Records and CEO of his own imprint, Young Money Entertainment. The 25 year old hip hop mogul has scored the biggest selling album of 2008 with his acclaimed release of Tha Carter III, the first million selling debut in the record industry in three years.
