The ATRL Stan Dictionary
A reference guide for the guest and members who don't quite understand the slang used on ATRL at times.

Buzz Single [See: flop]
noun
1. A song that underperfomed: Right Now was just a buzz single.
Ch... [ch]

Chanteuse [shan-toos]
noun
1. French word for a female popular singer. Popularized by Mariah Carey's album title, Me. I Am. Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse. Often preceded by a noun, verb, adjective or adverb to describe the noun in a fun or humorous way: Lady Gaga, the Diamond Chanteuse, had her single, "Bad Romance", certified Diamond by the RIAA.
2. Often used as a flamebait title with a joke, humorous, deregatory or ridiculous word or phrase preceding it: Forehead Chanteuse Rihanna serves face, The Curse Chanteuse Becky G brings more curse, Grammy Nominee Chanteuse Katy Perry receives another nomination, Live Performer Chanteuse Britney Spears sings live for the first time in 10 years, etc.

1. based on the central character in the Eminem song of the same name, a "stan" is an extreme fan for any celebrity. It is a portmanteau of "stalker" and "fan": ATRL is the headquarters of all stans worldwide.
