I'm a Lana fan and UV is a nice album but isn't this all a bit much? For one thing the album really isn't that dark and most of it is just about the same stuff as BTD was.

She's also not making "alternative music" and it's not "anti commercial" either. It's not really any more original than anything else out right now. Lana has her inspirations that she draws from just like every other pop star out there, they even mentioned a few of them in the article.
