R8 won't sell as much as BEYONCE the first week of course, since its not going to have the extreme hype because of a "surprise" release.

The girls kill me when they talk about BEYONCE's impact/making world news. I mean, why wouldn't it? It caught EVERYONE off guard, so it had the music industry in mayhem.

With all that said, R8 will match BEYONCE's WW sales at the very least.

in US she will sell mora than 3 Millions and WW almost 7 Millions

R8 will most likely sell the same as BEYONCÉ... yet, Rihanna will have to SWEAT her forehead out to reach that: get hits after hits, promote the **** out of it (worldwide) and, of course, release in november (again) to get all the holiday sales boost in its entirely...

Beyoncé on the other hand, will remain chilling on her legendary TITAN throne maturing vocally and musically, touring and not caring to show her ass up to promote nor dealing with single releases... all her future releases will perform like this commercially, while her legendary status and critical aclaim will keep growing until pretty much ALL her peers won't be able to take a **** without being compared to how Beyoncé takes her **** up to another level...

Rihanna is like a chiwawa who needs to bark at your face as loud as she can to make you notice her
Beyoncé a puppet who sh*ts in the middle of the floor and looks at you unbothered waiting for you to pick it up... and you do!

The navy can keep whining and stuff but the thruth is: no matter how well Rihanna does with her future albums, she has A LOT to catch to what Beyoncé has already done, and still, she'll forever be compared to a greater one who did it first... and since Beyoncé isn't stopping anytime soon, she never will...

I don't see the whole point of this thread, Rihanna might struggle to outsell her last 2 albums or it might be another LOUD, Beyonce might let the album die at 3.5 million or she might promote at the VMAs/ BET/ AMA's and help turn songs like PH and Mine into hits... the whole thing is unpredictable/

I wouldn't say R8 is gonna sell more than 3.5M for sure, but if Rih and her team actually focus on promoting, it really wouldn't hard to sell 4M. A typical messy Rihanna era with front-loaded promo usually yields 3.5M copies. If Rihanna flops this time, then yes, she will sell less than BEYONCE.
But considering this is her first 2-year gap, the demand is gonna be higher than ever.

And to those who think that Beyonce was able to sell 3.3M by simply pressing a button, you are delusional too. What about ALL the iTunes banners? 20 music videos? A freaking world tour and superbowl prior to album release? It seems like an effortless era simply because her team used up all their fuel before the album was even released. Let alone the sales of her singles.
