The movie is going to continue regardless, either with Zendaya or another actress who doesn't care about Aaliyah's family blessing just like the movie studio doesn't care about Aaliyah's family blessing. No one really cares Aaliyah's family, but it's nice for the studio to pretend to care, for good public standing, but the movie is going forward with or without the family's blessing. So just be quiet about it, act well in the film, and get your check, kid.

There would still be a movie because Lifetime had probably already started working on the script. If they don't get the family's blessing it just won't star Zendaya.

If that was the case this movie and and album would have been done years ago, her family obviously has some type of legal pull cause anytime they said no everything would shut down.
