1998. AOL I think? I had 23 cousins living in our area at the time and my famile was the only one that had Internet./a computer Now some of them were 20/21 at the time and they would come to our house to use it for their dissertations and stuff . I remember it so vividly . It was on one of these too:
like 1993? There was no yahoo/google nothing just a book called something like World Wide Web Directory....or something and you had to go through it and find the websites you were loooking for!....I do remember playboy.com was a boom when it came out....and i used to go there with my ...dad? lol
We had it in 1994, but I didn't really begin using it routinely until about 1998. It took forever to do anything. Like a 15 second clip took an hour to download. I would visit places like Spoiler Slayer, do IRC and random stuff. It is odd at times to think back at how the internet was and how it is today. The internet really has had a negative impact on the world.
In was 8 and my parents had just bought me a computer. So that was 2004. That was the first time I really used it. We probably had it since we moved there in 2000 because my dad worked part time in his office and the rest of the time at home so he needed the internet.
