No TMB didn't mess her up it was her bad choice of singles after the success of TMB. If she would've released Migrate as the 2nd single and Side Effects as the 3rd her album would've sold more, she would've her 20th and 21st #1 singles and she would be able to have a 4th single. Itz sad cuz I really wanted Mariah and Madonna to dominate this year but after the success of TMB and 4 Minutes they made all the wrong single choices.

Migrate was the hit of the album.

Yeah I guess Def Jam doesn't support any other artist on their label as well as Rihanna.

Honestly it's all Mariah's fault and I'm not ashamed to say it! The Bye Bye video [WHICH IS ABOUT PEOPLE DYING) had her half naked with some C-List loser who she then married, shifting ALL of her coverage AWAY from the music. Not to mention the song was nowhere near single material. And let's not forget the cancelled appearances when she was off marrying Nick after knowing him for a few weeks. Then, instead of releasing a sure-fire radio hit like Migrate, she decided to release IBLULT, which is a good song but not something with which to regain momentum. All of her decisions were awful, and her agreement with Def Jam gives her full control and they are just in charge of promotion, so clearly she ****ed up.

The reason I'm so upset is because I really love this album and it could have done so well if she'd have pulled her head out of her ass.

For The Record, Side Effects and I'm That Chick should have been proper singles, I insist. In that order, axing Blah Blah and I'll Be Loving You Long Time.
