Yes IT IS TRUE! Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus officially confirmed that they have stepped down from the show! The show is currently filming its 3rd and final season! There are a total of 56 episodes and Cyrus agreed to film only 12 more episodes with a movie to top off and complete the show. The reason they are quitting is that they want Miley to focus on her music career! Miley also confirmed that the Disney spokesperson was prepared to cancel Hannah Montana next winter after a 4th season to give more room for other new shows! The actress has recently also been offered a role to play in the sequel to the movie "Sex and the City"! Hannah Montana's final episode will air April 2009 and the movie will air May 2009. A spin-off of the series "Jonas!" will air right after the cancellation June 2009!

UPDATE: This just in! The movie has been pushed forward for a April 10, 2009 release! Disney has released a press conference this morning so right when the new movie is released the final episodes will air right after the movie!
