Attractive locations and favorable working conditions, with quality domestic filmmakers, writes the daily, are some of the advantages producers want to use. “Hit series about good witches will soon be filmed here. American media have written about the return of “Charmed” on television, but it was not known that new episodes will be filmed in Serbia. However, it is certain that first scenes of the new season will be shot in Belgrade at the end of the year. The only thing foreign filmmakers are waiting is to Serbia approves a refund of the fee for filming.
In the next year the state budget could be richer for EUR 1.5 million just from the tax for Hollywood production movies,” a source told the daily. Due to the non-refund policy regarding fee for filming, in the last five years some filmmakers from around the world bypassed Serbia, so the state, according to experts from the Serbian Film Association, lost at least EUR 100 million.
It's going to be terrible. The entire original cast has said they won't be in it, and it's in bad taste, it hasn't even been a decade since the finale. Desperate money grab, won't last a season. I'm so pressed, I need more Rose McGowan on TV
This show must be revived especially since it was cancelled for no damn reason with a FLOP budget. Its has almost been a decade since its been cancelled anyway.
They could simply take an 'into every generation a Slayer is born' approach with the Power of Three - having it as three new sisters? We've seen the Halliwell story, and relatively recently, there's no need to see it again.
If I were behind this, I'd be reinventing it as much as possible and only keeping the 'world' (demons, whitelighters, elders, book of shadows etc) the same. Make it much darker, a la Coven/The Craft, and set in 2015 with three siblings who are age appropriate (not whiney teens, but not people in their 30s playing young either). Change the city they're in, too. Different wiccan family/coven, different book of shadows etc. and maybe have them acknowledge the Halliwells as legends etc.
I wouldn't be adverse to them making it two sisters and a brother, either. Although, that' d maybe be too controversial.

I dont think they should change the family tbh according to their universe the Halliwell line is the strongest and while a few other bloodlines were powerful never as powerful as them. I agree on a darker vibe though.
