Your problem is that you listen too much to the haters. You need thicker skin,because chhhile... I've seen worst said about Mariah here and on other sites. Who cares what Bey stans think, or Ariana stans.
Remember who the orignal is.
Also Youtube is one of THE WORST places to go ,because the comment section is open to mostly everyone,and they don't have moderators scanning the site. So hater s start arguments all the time in comment sections.( I use to scalp for Mimi back when YT was still a baby from 05-08 )

Mariah can obviously still hit whistles,as shown in a couple of receipts on the video. Her voice just becomes more fragile as she gets older,but as far as whistles are concerned,it's always been that way. Sometimes they come out,and sometimes nothing but air comes out. Mariah said she just "says a prayer" before she hits certain notes.

That's why she does more double takes now and dubs. It's not straight out lipping,but splicing the best parts of each take together.

I remember watching the live TV broadcast of that Beautiful performance, she sounded horrible on the whistles. We were talking about it on here when it was happening. They then announced the retake for the West coast, where funnily enough she hit them all perfectly

Frankly I don't see much resemblance between Ariana and Mariah. Can she belt, whistle, or write songs? She's much more in the mold of generic R&B female singers like Nicole Scherzinger.
