I doubt this whole surprise release thing is true, but it's very possible. Paul Moss said that XL Recordings had originally stated a 2014 release, but then registered the album two weeks ago and said anytime from now 'till June 2015 with a probable January 2015 release. The registration date and the date this news hit headlines is only two weeks off, and XL has thrown out a few dates so far. I'm praying Adele doesn't pull a Beyoncé, but if anyone could do it and get away with it, it would probably be her. But I need to be prepared for when it comes, plus I don't want her to be accused of copying Beyoncé, nor do I want her sales to be affected by an iTunes-exclusive release. I know she has the best-selling digital album of all-time and whatever, but she has such a huge demographic ranging from all different ages, and some of them don't have iTunes or an iPod, like my grandpa, and want the physical CD.

With all due respect, honestly you guys bothering Moss is really not cool at this point. Can't blame him for being upset when he clarified what he does. He told us what he knows for sure and that's all the info he is gonna get until they decide a release date. Blaming him or being mad at him for defending himself isn't fair imo.
I think Adele is pretty smart, she will release the album in the proper way. Imo
