I was right. I guess people buy Katy's singles, then download the album for free, realize it only has 5 good songs on it (generally the singles) and that the rest are fillers, and forget about her

Katy's album wasn't discounted this week and even when it isn't she's still outselling Beyonce.

Yes she might because she has support from radio and she has been promoting her album for months. That's simple logic. But with all her efforts, PRISM should've at least doubled BEYONCÉ sales.
This conversation is tired anyway and Beyoncé doesn't care about singles and albums sales, she wants to tour. That's where the real money is. "I don't trust these record labels Im touring"
At the end of the day, they are both very successful, so this is pointless.

You are seething, its not that serious. Prism just passed the 3 million mark, so suddenly she's gonna do 500k and catch up to Bey soon by selling 15k more?lol If you say so. Bey has reached over 3.5 with no promo since Feb, no singles and still doing 8k. Look, if Katy surpasses ha album sells, I'll be the first one to congratulate ha, but I just don't see that happening, especially with the underperformance of Birthday, even PH is outselling Prism.

There's nothing to argue. Those users put those reviews on Metacritic themselves, we didn't write it for them If an album has a 5.5 user score, that obviously means a good amount of people didn't like it.

To be fair, that user score is really not indicative of the GPs interest, especially when stans can easily influence those scores.
