I agree. The prices of some of these things are absolutely ridiculous. It's a shame you can't buy stuff like vinyls and whatnot from her official store. It would be a lot more convenient to her fans. I've never seen the original "Hometown Glory" vinyl that cheap. $60.00? The cheapest I've seen is like, $70.00 with shipping.... Anyways... I will keep looking for you and see if I find any good deals on them. Were you interested in the remix vinyls for "Rolling in the Deep" and "Cold Shoulder" as well? (They are official; I looked into them.) I also found a vinyl for the "Many Shades of Black" single released by The Raconteurs; it features both the original version by just The Raconteurs and the version with Adele. Let me know what you're interested in and I will do my best to find them at the cheapest prices possible for you.
And yeah, it's pointless to try and contact the record labels, really. The one girl I talked to was like, "I didn't know she was working on a new album." I think they are better with office work and dealing with questions about the label itself; I don't think they really know about upcoming music from their artists.... I emailed them like, 15 times to find out if there was a "Set Fire to the Rain" CD single released officially by them and they refused to respond to my emails. I was wondering because their website indicates a CD single was released, but from several sources who have looked into it (myself included), I have determined it was never officially released and only fanmade ones exist. They're pretty much useless....
And yeah, I agree. I would like to see a few songs on the album with him, although I'm really looking forward to more of her stuff with Paul Epworth. Their stuff together ALWAYS slays. And yeah, I feel like if Ryan Tedder got "Someone Like You" (which, don't get me wrong, I LOVE Ryan Tedder), he would've turned it into a power ballad with strings and stuff and the song would've been changed too much. Plus, it's interesting to note that "Someone Like You" was written in the key of A Major. Kelly Clarkson's "Already Gone" and Beyoncé's "Halo" were also both written in that key (for those of you who don't know, Ryan Tedder got himself into some controversy because he co-wrote both songs and was accused of reusing the formula used to write "Halo" for Kelly's song).
BTW, anyone seen Adele's "Releases" page on XL's website? I used the images they posted for my Adele album covers on iTunes because they were really HQ, but now they've gotten really pixelated and blurry. Maybe they're updating it for a new release!
Probably not, but let's be delusional and assume they are.
OMG! YES! Please do! When they release it, post a link. Rick has worked with several artists I like and I wouldn't mind seeing the interview myself. I'm honestly a little surprised that they haven't worked together; he did quite a few songs with her on 21 and I feel like she would want him to come back, especially because she enjoyed working with him. That could also mean she won't cover "Never Tear Us Apart" on the album like she promised because Rick was supposed to produce that cover. If that thing about her and Rick not working together is true, though, it's also possible that she's really far behind on the album or he's going to be a last-minute addition or something. I highly doubt she wouldn't have him on the album, though, or wait that long to ask him to be on the album....
Yeah, there were others already at that price when I got it, it was the only one of HG that I saw that was that low, so I nabbed it pretty quick. I'm almost 100% sure it's real despite its lower price, though, the seller was an actual UK record store. Unlike the other prices I've mentioned, $60 number was not including shipping, btw, sorry. I'd like to look into those other ones you mentioned too, so if you find anything good with those just tell me. The regular 19 ones are my main focus atm though.
About the INXS cover, I thought the arrangement that Paloma Faith released was what wa originally Adele's? Anyway, don't get me wrong, her cover of Lovesong is lovely, but I've always wanted to hear NTUA just because I totally adore the song, it's kind of epic lyrically and has that signature riff.

I think she planned on releasing another album in 2012 (she was saying this before 21 really took off) and that's why she was mentioning NTUA, etc.
Nothing she said then is likely going to happen with the new album.
And hopefully after this album, Adele stops writing "personal" albums. If you really think about it, the reason we've had to wait so long is because basically needed inspiration to write another personal album for 25.
Hopefully after this, she feels more inspired to experiment with her writing a little more. That way we wouldn't have to wait until something big happens in her life to get new music.

The greatest thing about Adele is her saturation of genuine and relatable emotions in the albums and in every live performance. You don't want to lose that! The fact that she writes her songs also guarantees us quality,I'm not here for labels taking over her work!
Would you imagine her singing a Katy Perry's leftover???Nnnnnonononono
In her words "I'm a songwriter and I'm gonna write it!",and I'm totally fine with it!

I do remember her talking another album then before 21 ended up exploding, but I though NTUA was specifically intended for 21? I know she mentioned covering INXS in the Faustina interview, and that was May 2009. However, it was already off a supposed 21 track list posted in 2010, but so were Lovesong, Take It All, and SFTTR (if we assume Waiting For You must be IBW, and know that What Is Love is HWG). Perhaps she added Lovesong in with those other two--cutting Haunted Skies and Saviour--at the last minute just because she wanted a cover on there?
Paul Epwroth some song titles were working titles for songs that are on 21 so if you want me to fish them back out again I can Also I wouldn't mind if Adele had half personal and half something because if we continued with these personal albums then expect longer waits with each album
Anyways Adele knows what she is doing with her career so let her decide
You'll be beggiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnn, beggiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnn meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Thank you

Ok It said it will be out on Monday so And yes the situation is a bit weird right now, but I don't think its anything to worry about

Well... I found the re-release of "Hometown Glory" pretty cheap on Discogs: http://www.discogs.com/marketplace?m...id=57664&ev=mb. I didn't look at shipping, but I can't imagine it's that much. The record itself is really cheap. Again, "Make You Feel My Love" is a bit of an issue finding cheap, but eBay has a couple that are under $40.00 with shipping, I believe. I also found "Chasing Pavements" on Discogs pretty cheap: http://www.discogs.com/marketplace?m...id=57647&ev=mb (it's about halfway down the page). The rare "Cold Shoulder" remix vinyl can be purchased here, and the original can be found here. As for the one-sided "Rolling in the Deep" Jamie xx Shuffle, that vinyl can be found here, and the rare two-sided one released for Record Store Day (the second track is a live performance at the World Café), you can buy here. Hopefully that will help! Discogs has all of Adele's CD singles and vinyls and they're pretty cheap. I haven't personally bought from them but I'm going to make some purchases from them myself soon! They have a lot of neat stuff!
And I don't know about the Paloma Faith thing, but I agree... "Lovesong" is lovely. I wish her unreleased songs would leak, though.... They sound so good.... "Never Tear Us Apart" was scrapped because it sounded "unconvincing", but it honestly probably sounds amazing, and I really want to hear "Haunted Skies", "Saviour", "Devil On My Shoulder", and songs like that.

I love her personal albums, though. She's not going to stop. Personal albums are the best, even if we have to wait. I'm fine with the wait as long as she doesn't shut her fans out like she has this time. She'll never sing about stuff that doesn't speak to her or relate to her in any way. She's a soul artist and soul music comes from the heart.

Yeah, I remember she was going to release a third album in May 2012 before everything happened. I wonder how things would've been different if she would've.... 'Cause she had like, at least seven songs done for the album. She even talked about it in interviews and stuff. She probably changed her musical direction and started the album over, though, so hopefully the songs she did write will get leaked! I need to hear them!

Okay, thanks for letting me know! It's nothing to worry about, as long as Paul Epworth is on the next album, I'm happy, and she pretty much confirmed he's the first one she was going to talk to about the new album, so... I'm positive he'll be on it.
I can't quote that well bc I'm on mobile, but thanks so much for the links, Addict! Never knew about discogs, actually, that should make things a lot cheaper for most of them if I go that route!
I've got to admit, though I'd probably still love to hear NTUA (my gut still says that one slays, regardless of what we've heard), Haunted Skies, Saviour, DOMS, Run Away, w/e, I think a leak now would just end up killing our buzz for the third album. Besides, maybe it's best to just trust Adele on this one: "B-sides don't make a record because they're ****, d'youknowhatimean?"
It originally and still often refers to the songs on reverse (B) side of a vinyl record single. Very often considered the lesser song of the two. I.e. the original b-side of HG was Best For Last.

It's probably a good thing you didn't quote that, it was another novel-length comment from me. Anyways... No problem! A lot of the items on Discogs ship from European countries and almost all of them you have to go to "view details" in order to see the seller's shipping costs and whatnot, and it's a little confusing, but I found at least one vinyl that I might purchase from them. I don't know if the links will help, but it's worth a shot!
I'd love to hear any of the unreleased songs, to be honest. I don't want a leak now, but in the midst of the 25 era, hopefully they'll all leak! I would love that. I know she obviously doesn't want them released, but they sound so good! Hell, all of Gaga's unreleased songs (with the exception of a few) have leaked.... Why can't Adele's label be as messy as they are and just leak them? On the bright side, though, Paul flat out said that she almost debuted "Saviour" live on the Adele Live tour and that he's pretty sure it will be released some day, so I do have hopes that at least "Saviour" will be released at some point.

What is a B-side
Daydreams did a pretty good job explaining it. For example, the B-side to "Chasing Pavements" is "Now and Then". It is the second track on the "Chasing Pavements" CD single and the second song on the "Chasing Pavements" vinyl, because a vinyl record has two sides. Typically, for vinyl records that have singles rather than full-length albums, one side (side A) will have the single itself, while the other side (side B) will have the B-side. It's almost like a bonus song. Sometimes the artist will release the B-side in select countries with the single, although it's very rare. You can read more about them here.
Sometimes I wonder how British people can just watch Katy or whomever in a concert when one of the other 13,000-ish other people in the room with them is Adele. Special powers I suppose (or just common sanity one or the other)
The Never Tear Us Apart convo reminded me of this video and how flawless her banters are
Wait...I just realized..."lives in Malibu"...let's get all the DDs from around the world together and sneak it on a nice eternal vacation away from the beautiful studio it has forever called home. We all could even go in there all 007-style.
