This needs to STOP. A certain person is striking back, and making an album/single discussion threads for every single artist with album/single news coming. And I thought official threads were banned on the first place because of THEM?! Just because CERTAIN artists at the moment need their own discussion threads to keep the forum organized doesn't mean hey! lets make one for every damn artist whom about to release a single and album. Why don't you just post the news without making it a whole "main discussion" thread?!


I hope an action is being taken regarding this.

I noticed that too! I have no idea who started up the trend again, I think it was Roker because I saw the official Christina thread 1st. TRL Girl has like 4 of them lol I only have one

I thought the mods allow it again, so that's why i created the pink thread, actually a mod changed the title to make it an official thread for Pink. No offense to TRL girl but she is the one creating alot of these official threads.

But Mazon don't act like your all innocent in all of this, because your guilty too, your basically saying that these official threads need to stop, ok so then why did you create the Britney Circus discussion thread? If you want these official threads to stop? & it doesn't matter if Britney is huge, the point is you also created an official thread as well for an artist.. You basically followed through this trend as well. Im just saying

This brings back up that whole argument about which artists deserve to have an official thread, and that didn't end so well last time.

Yeah, I actually noticed this trend started lately, like about a few weeks ago. I actually would like it if we didn't have those kinds of threads.

Oh, and LMAO at the title of this thread.

I'm not against official threads, I'm against people with ZERO COMMON SENSE. The Britney, Christina and Beyonce threads are obviously necessary because these artists have:

a) constant album/single related news
b) wide fanbase in ATRL.

The official threads keep the forums organized, and that's why the mods tried to zip all of their individual threads into one main thread - instead of cluttering the forums with threads about the same artist, and I did that for the Britney thread as well for the same reason and it's working fine until the bot came and... There's clearly no need for Akon and Lily Allen official threads since we don't have people posting news about them on daily basis. How about just posting their news and move on?

The mods are not allowing these threads officially, but they are CLEARLY being ok with them for people with COMMON SENSE, but, just like the last time, the same spammer with no common sense is abusing it all again and I think we all know who they are. If anyone thinks they would start a main discussion thread, they should ask the mods, because this is an issue of common sense and I think the mods have better observation on whether the forums need it or not.

I agree that these catch-all "discussion" threads work only when talk of a certain artist gets to be so much that it's out of control, and so it needs to be wrapped up into one sort-of-coherent thread. Then that thread becomes the de facto home of discussion for that artist's news until the cycle dies down.

It's ridiculous to create these types of threads for other artists that don't have such an overflow of news.

Why don't we give THIS CERTAIN person her respective 199 warnings for starting the pointless threads and get rid of her?

honestly the only reason there were Christina and Britney discussion threads were because there were like 12 threads at a time for each of them
