How did he not think about the words? He specifically made sure to read through the interview and choose that one line about death as the headline when the interview was supposed to be about her album. He was doing dirty work, but that doesn't mean he did something illegal. He had the right to write the article the way he did, but that doesn't make it right.

Her fans are so ****ing entitled and annoying, first dragging Cedraic Gervais and now this guy both just for doing their jobs.

He is doing his job, but she also has the right to be angry when she went in for an interview about her album, and the interviewer turned the article into a piece about her depression. She was clearly saying she "wishes she was dead" because she would have a legacy and not have to go through the troubles of being in the industry, not that she wants to commit suicide. But that is how the Guardian made it seem.
Also, she never said anything about her words being twisted. If you actually read her tweets, you can see that she is mad about how the article was written, but never denies what she said.
