Is it bad that I actually enjoy the "We R Who We R" video? Something about the tacky meets apocalyptic treatment just works for me. However, I understand why most fans are appalled by its existence. It's not conventionally digestible.
It was so cheesy, the special effects were awful, and there was a really horrible try of a story line at the beginning that made no sense.
Not to mention the obvious try of sex appeal, which is very awkward for even straights.

Okay so I just re-watched the "We R Who We R" video since I actually haven't seen it in years and it really is tragic. I take back what I said before. Easily her worst video. Man, it's just all around bad. That song deserved MUCH better. What, did they film, edit and release this in 24 hours?

Actually, I did not mean to sound patronising. What I meant, is that it's not a conventionally "stunning" music video. It's got grit, has a tacky aesthetic and looks somewhat cheap – which are all qualities people don't typically seek in pop videos. At the same time, I think that's the whole point. It's almost as if she was poking fun at her image in the industry, at the time.
The We R Who We R video isn't horrible, but it is pretty bad. The bad lip-syncing, the bad editing, the trashy looks, the sudden stop after the bridge, the product placement that doesn't make any sense and then taping the apple logo,.. But I love the american flag outfit and the dancing scene in the dust more near the end
The song is flawless though and it deserve a lot better video

Absolutely all of this. The massive rave is just so unnecessary and tacky and stupid looking, too. The American flag look could have slayed though.
