What does your music taste say about you
Do you find that you have more in common with people who like the same music as you do? One U.K. study claims it may not be a coincidence. Professor Adrian North of Heriot-Watt University enlisted 36,000 people from around the world to rate 104 musical styles and answer a series of personality questions in hopes of finding a link.
"One of the most surprising things is the similarities between fans of classical music and heavy metal," says Prof. North. "They're both creative and at ease but not outgoing." Another revelation about hardcore fans: "The general public has held a stereotype of heavy metal fans being suicidally depressed and of being a danger to themselves and society in general. But they are quite delicate things."

I like Pop and Indie, so I have a high self-esteem and a low self-esteem, I'm creative and not creative, hardworking and not hardworking, gentle and not gentle

'Not creative' appears only next to Pop.

I'm differed in my music taste, so mine include Pop, Dance, Indie, Rock, Country, Operatic, and Soul.
They need more genres. lol

I guess I'm a walking contradiction. I most commonly listen to pop and dance music, meaning I am both creative and uncreative, gentle and not gentle. I'm also not a girl, not yet woman, etc...

Says I'm open minded pretty much. I listen to a variety of genres just as much as I'm open to different opinions and cultures.

I feel like the adjectives used are too repetitive, almost all of the genres mention something about self-esteem and creativity. Clearly, the people who made this study like pop music because this wasn't creative at all.

I'm definitely a mash-up of Pop & Indie, because sometimes I'm very high self-steem & sometimes not...
and definitely not creative at all
